Longhirst Hall has all the ingredients needed for a successful special occasion, including the Boyson restaurant award-winning cuisine.

Head Chef, Graeme Toms, provides a seasonal menu which uses the finest local produce, to create classical dishes with an innovative twist, from 18 different local suppliers. Fresh fish from North Shields, prime lamb from Dunterley Farm and matured cuts of Kielder Organics beef are just ome of the delights to look forward to.

The Boyson Restaurant is open for dinner seven nights a week and now offers a 2 course simple lunch Monday to Saturday, with a traditional offering on a Sunday lunch time.

End your day with a stroll along Longhirst's woodland walk or take advantage of one of our exclusive breaks and stay overnight.

Looking for something different for celebrating, bring a summers feel to your company event, Longhirst are able to offer barbeques and drinks on the lawn.

Corporate Events

The iconic building of Longhirst Hall creates an atmospheric backdrop perfect for a Murder Mystery night in our early Georgian dining room.

Cricketing Party

Consider an inter-team/company social occasion with use of the cricket pitch, adjacent to the original Hall, which has its own changing pavilion where a buffet lunch or afternoon tea can be catered for. Drinks from the Sticky Wicket bar can be served in the Hall.

Drinks Receptions

Why not consider a Northumbrian piper to welcome your guests on the steps of the original Hall to the impressive foyer and Drawing Room? It provides a historical setting for a drinks reception for up to 100 people.
